These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the provision of academic guidance and consultancy services by Marije de Jong / Co-create with.me (“we,” “our,” or “us”) to clients (“you” or “your”). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
We offer the following services:
- Guidance for Bachelor and Master students in research internships and literature theses.
- Guidance and co-writing for academic papers and support for academic publishing.
- Guidance for independent PhD candidates.
- Research consultancy for researchers and consultants.
All services are for educational, advisory, and supportive purposes only. We do not write theses or research projects on behalf of students.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to contract our services.
- By engaging us, you confirm that you are acting either as a private individual (consumer) or on behalf of a business/organization.
3. Formation of Agreement
- A service agreement is concluded once you confirm acceptance of an offer, whether in writing, by email, or through payment.
- Each agreement is personal and non-transferable.
4. Fees and Payment
- Fees will be communicated clearly before the start of any service.
- Payment terms will be agreed upon in advance. Invoices must be paid within the stated period.
- Late payments may result in suspension of services until payment is received.
5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers Only)
If you are a private individual (consumer) residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a service agreement within 14 days of conclusion, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you must notify us by email at

Exceptions
- If you expressly request that we begin providing services within the 14-day withdrawal period, and we deliver part or all of the service, you waive your right of withdrawal for the portion of services already performed.
- Business clients (companies, universities, organizations) are not entitled to the right of withdrawal.
Refunds
If you withdraw within the 14-day period and no services have been performed, we will refund any fees you have paid within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method you used.
6. Client Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information you provide.
- For students: You remain fully responsible for complying with your university’s academic integrity policies. Our services do not replace your independent work.
7. Intellectual Property
- All materials provided by us remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed.
- You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use such materials for your own academic or professional purposes.
8. Confidentiality
- We treat all client information and project details as confidential.
- We will not share your information with third parties except as required by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
- We provide services with due care and skill. However, we do not guarantee specific academic or publishing outcomes.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services provided.
10. Termination
- Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. You remain liable for payment of services performed up to the date of termination.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by Dutch law.
- Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
12. International Clients
- These Terms apply to all clients, regardless of country of residence.
- For EU consumers, the statutory rights under EU consumer protection law apply in addition to these Terms.
13. Amendments
- We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be published on our website with the date of the latest revision.
